Australian Funeral Plan selects funeral directors and consultants to act as representatives based on their integrity, reliability, empathy and above all, experience.

For those who enjoy travelling or may be away from home for periods of time, the Travel Protection Plan means that transportation costs are covered if death occurs more than 70kms away from the funeral home chosen. The Travel Protection Plan is an optional feature and can be purchased as part of a funeral bond, a pre-paid funeral plan, or on its own.

The Travel Protection plan can protect your loved ones against up to $5,000.00 worth of transport expenses, preventing the stress of an unexpected bill.

One Payment Only

A once only non-refundable fee is payable in full at the time you signup for your prepaid funeral plan. The fee is $495.00 (Inclusive) for each funeral plan. The Travel Protection Plan is non-transferrable.

Applying Is Easy

The Travel Protection plan can be added to any new pre-paid funeral plans and may be added to existing funeral plans subject to Australian Funeral Plan’s discretion.

1. Choose a funeral director.

2. Inform your chosen funeral director you would like a prepaid funeral plan with Travel Protection.

3. Sign the contract with your funeral director to be protected against unexpected transportation costs.

Travel protection does not take into account an after hours transfer fee, which may apply. Speak to your chosen funeral director for more details.
